We are one of the few Houston builders with active pool house and pool addition expertise across the metro. Right now, we are building a major pool house and pool addition at Willowcreek Ranch, and we have completed four to five pool house additions across the Houston metro in the last two years.

 

Pool houses are structurally distinct from primary homes; they need specific engineering for water exposure, outdoor electrical systems, and entertaining-grade finishes. We handle all of it under our standard project management structure.

That classification governs foundation design, finished floor elevation, and structural engineering before any architectural decision gets made. Homes must be elevated above base flood elevation using pilings or pier systems engineered for coastal soil conditions, and that elevation directly affects your insurance eligibility and how the structure performs during a storm surge.

Beyond elevation, every Galveston home must meet Texas Department of Insurance windstorm standards and pass WPI-8 inspection. That certification governs roofing assemblies, wall connections, and structural framing for hurricane-force winds. resistance. We specify marine-grade and corrosion-resistant materials at every contact point: fasteners, flashing, hardware, and exterior assemblies because standard materials deteriorate at a rate that creates expensive maintenance problems within a few years in this environment.
